Gewürztraminer 2007

Background

This Gewürztraminer is the product of our enthusiasm for cool-climate viticulture and winemaking.  The grapes are sourced from our twenty-year old estate vineyard and a spectacular south-facing vineyard in Carr’s Landing.  It is highly perfumed and made in food-friendly style with a hint of sweetness.  Pair it with your own aromatic and spicy creations.    

Tasting Notes

This wine is richly aromatic and full-bodied with spicy, mineral, floral and green apple aromas.  Crafted in a crisp, off-dry style, it can be paired with food or enjoyed on its own. 

Food Pairing

Pairs well with many spicy Thai and Indian dishes.  Try it with chicken or turkey dinner, smoked salmon or peppered cheeses.
