Pinot Gris 2007

Background

Our Pinot Gris grows on the steepest part of our vineyard.  The steep slope is both warmer in summer and provides good air drainage to prevent frosts in the fall.  The grapes thrive in this location,  producing subtle flavours yet retaining plenty of natural acidity.  We age the wine on the lees for 4 months, producing an elegant, well-balanced Pinot Gris.      

Tasting Notes

Ripe apple, pear, melon and delicate floral aromas. Complex, full-bodied with refreshing acidity.
