Pinot Noir 2006

Background

Our Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit grown in Carr's Landing, Westbank and Oliver.  Each vineyard contributes its distinct attributes to the wine.  The north adds aromatics, the central Okanagan adds colour the south adds texture.  All three vineyards are growing clone 115 yet the fruit tastes distinctly different.  We blend them to achieve greater consistency and complexity.           

Tasting Notes

Raspberry, strawberry, cherry and violet aromas with spicy, and smoky undertones.  A delicate, medium bodied red wine with smooth tannins.

Food Pairing 

Recommended with chicken, duck, wild mushroom sauces or Gruyere cheese.
