First Crush White 2015

The 2015 First Crush White is a blend of Pinot Gris, Bacchus and Auxerrois. It isn’t the brainchild of someone with a penchant for blending obscure German and Alsatian grape varieties. It simply reflects what is planted side by side in our vineyard. The vines all share the same soil, growing conditions and the same people tending to them.  And as far as blending them is concerned, Pinot Gris and Auxerrois play nicely together with their ripe apple and pear flavours and Bacchus crashes the party and adds some zest and spice. It's a charming wine that is great for entertaining or paired with an appetizer. It's easy to like and it will give your wine connoisseur friends something to talk about too.
Tasting Notes
Aromatic bouquet featuring citrus fruit, apple, pear and ginger. On the palate it is fruit-forward with moderate acidity and a touch of residual sugar to accentuate the aromas and flavours.
