Solstice Pinot Noir
2009
Background
The
grapes for the 2009 Solstice Pinot Noir are grown in the
volcanic soil of West Kelowna and the clay loam soil of Carr's
Landing. The mild climate and diverse soils make these vineyards
ideal for premium Pinot Noir. Through low crop yields, minimal
handling and careful aging in French oak puncheons, we ensure
the wine stays true to the grape variety and the vineyards.
Solstice Pinot Noir reflects both the essence of our unique
surroundings and our commitment to quality.
Tasting Notes
A silky, medium bodied
Pinot Noir showing cherry, raspberry, leather and earth
components. It has the elegance and complexity expected of this
variety with the lively fruit of our Central Okanagan vineyards
shining through.
