Suncrest Vineyard
Our main focus
has always been our 16 acre Suncrest Vineyard in
Okanagan Centre. Initial plantings of Gewurztraminer,
Pinot Gris and Bacchus date back to 1986 and subsequent
plantings of Zweigelt, Merlot, Pinot Gris and Vidal were
added in 1998 to 2000. Most of this vineyard is
situated on a westerly slope and consists of
well-drained gravelly glacial till and sandy loam soil.
The high altitude and proximity to the lake gives the
vineyard a moderate climate with a long frost-free
period, allowing the grapes to hang on the vines well
into October. This vineyard produces the lively and
aromatic wines we have become known for.
Carr's Landing Vineyards
Carr's Landing is
situated along Lake Okanagan just north of Okanagan
Centre. We source grapes from two vineyards
planted to Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. The
southwest exposure makes this area slightly warmer than
Okanagan Centre and the heavier clay loam soils are well
suited to the pinot varieties.
West Kelowna Vineyard
Located on an
upper bench above the city, the West Kelowna vineyard
features coarse, well-drained soil and produces lively
and aromatic Pinot Noir.
