Bacchus is a Riesling x Sylvaner x Müller-Thurgau cross that produces lively, aromatic wines that are naturally low in alcohol. Half of the grapes are grown on old vines in our estate vineyard, which is located at 500m elevation and is a relatively cool site for the Okanagan. The floral, minty and slightly herbaceous aromas of the wine come from this vineyard. The remainder is grown on younger vines in South-East Kelowna, which produce a softer, riper flavour profile. Together they create our most refreshing white wine, ideally suited to warm summer days or for casual sipping any time of the year.
Floral, elderflower, grapefruit, lemon, peach and a hint of muscat. The palate is light with lingering flavours of fresh herbs, citrus and grapefruit.
Delicious on its own or serve with salads, grilled vegetables, chicken or seafood.
