Pinot Noir 2016

Pinot Noir 2016

22.50

Background
Sourced from five vineyards located in Lake Country and West Kelowna, this is a true Central Okanagan Pinot Noir. The vineyards are all within sight of Okanagan Lake, they are planted to a mix of Pinot Noir clones and they feature soil types of various textures. Together they represent a cross-section of this promising new Pinot Noir region.

The wine is aged on the lees in mostly neutral French oak barrels, imparting texture and subtle oak while preserving the grape's natural aromatics.

Tasting Notes
Rich cherry and raspberry aromas combine with subtle notes of vanilla, leather and earth. This Pinot Noir has a rich, silky texture and interesting complexity. Recommended food pairings are chicken, duck, wild mushroom risotto or Gruyere cheese.
