Like summer in a glass, this sparkling wine is made with Zweigelt grapes from our estate vineyard. Zweigelt is known for its dark red hue but these grapes are whole-cluster pressed to extract only a small amount of colour. The base wine is aged on the lees in stainless steel and neutral oak puncheons for 6 months. After the aging period, the wine is transferred to a Charmat tank for the secondary fermentation. The carbon dioxide produced during this fermentation is trapped inside the tank and dissolves into the wine, providing a natural carbonation. This method produces sparkling wines with fine bubbles and a fruit-forward flavour profile.
This brut sparkling Rosé has aromas of strawberry, rhubarb and pink grapefruit. On the palate the aromas are intensified with a touch of sweetness before a refreshingly clean and dry finish.
