Riesling 2025
What it is
Riesling is one of the world's noble white grape varieties, prized for its expressive aromatics, vibrant acidity, and unmistakable minerality. Grown in the Okanagan Valley's extreme climate, these hallmark characteristics are intensified, producing wines with remarkable purity, precision, and longevity.
Where it was grown
BCVQA Okanagan Valley – Lake Country. Grapes were sourced from Ritchie and Wendell Vineyards.
When it was grown
After several challenging vintages marked by significant crop losses, 2025 signalled a welcome return to abundant yields across the Okanagan Valley. One of the warmest growing seasons on record allowed our vineyards to rebound, producing beautifully healthy, intensely flavourful fruit. Following years of adversity, the vintage was a powerful reminder of the resilience of our vineyards and the extraordinary potential of this region. Early indications suggest 2025 may prove to be the vintage of the decade—if not beyond.
How it was made
Harvested from mid- to late October, the grapes reached the winery at exceptional ripeness while retaining their vibrant natural acidity. Fermentation proceeded slowly over nearly two months before naturally stopping with a small amount of residual sugar remaining. After a short period of maturation and stabilization, the wine was bottled in the spring to capture its freshness, aromatic intensity, and energy.
How it tastes
Expressive aromas of pineapple, peach, mango, and lemon zest lead into an off-dry palate that balances ripe fruit with vibrant acidity. A touch of residual sweetness adds richness and generosity, while the wine’s concentrated extract provides texture, minerality, and the structure to evolve gracefully in the cellar for years to come.
Technical Details
Residual Sugar 13.3 g/l (Off-Dry)
Acidity 6.8 g/l
Alcohol 13.3%
🌱 Vegan Wine
