Summerstorm 2025

CA$28.10

Release Date: June 19, 2026

What it is
Summerstorm is a unique rosé sparkling wine made from Zweigelt grapes using the Charmat method (méthode cuvée close).

Where it was grown
BCVQA Okanagan Valley – Lake Country. Grapes were sourced from Arrowleaf Estate and Ritchie Vineyard.

When it was grown
After several years of crop losses, the 2025 vintage marked a return to bountiful yields in the Okanagan Valley. The growing season was one of the warmest on record and our vineyards bounced back to produce beautifully healthy grapes. Despite the recent setbacks, it was further proof that this region is a truly special place to grow grapes and make wine. 2025 is poised to be the vintage of the decade, if not beyond.

How it was made
Zweigelt from our estate vineyard was harvested at moderate sugar levels to preserve its vibrant natural acidity. The fruit was gently whole-cluster pressed to extract a small amount of colour. The base wine was fermented dry and matured in neutral oak puncheons for six months. Following this initial aging period, the wine was transferred to a pressure tank, where yeast and sugar were added to initiate secondary fermentation. Regular lees stirring during this process helped build texture and complexity while encouraging the seamless integration of bubbles.

How it tastes
Bright and refreshing, with aromas of strawberry, rhubarb, and pink grapefruit. The palate is crisp and lively, with brut-level sweetness providing balance to the wine’s acidity and mineral character. Finely integrated bubbles contribute texture and length, carrying the flavours through a clean, persistent finish. A versatile sparkling wine made for summer celebrations and shared moments.
