A predominantly Merlot blend with 30% Pinot Noir, this rich, fruit-forward red brings together grapes grown in Lake Country and Summerland. The exceptionally warm and extended fall of 2022 allowed the fruit to develop excellent ripeness and concentration. Following an extended maceration and 12 months of aging in American and Eastern European oak, this medium to full-bodied wine offers aromas of ripe blackberry, birchbark, eucalyptus and vanilla. Generous dark fruit is complemented by well-integrated tannins and subtle oak, leading to a rich, lingering finish.
